My sister is a bit over the top so I designed this necklace for a Christmas gift to her.
The stars are sterling silver and the seed beads are crystal. Wasn't sure when I started where it would end, but I'm happy with the final outcome. There may be a subliminal message here since most of our growing up years I felt like choking her!!! Actually I am blessed by her presence and realize how much she means to me even after all these years. Let me know what you think. I may create some of these in various colors for sale.

ReplyDeleteI've noticed several combinations in the necklace: the combination of silver and crystal, the combination of red, dark, and silver colours, and the special design which is also a combination of a wide band made of crystals and delicately hanging items (strings of crystal beads and individual silver stars).
All these blessed combinations make the necklace look intricate and yet fascinatingly simple and elegant. I'm sure your sister will greatly enjoy it.

I am not sure what I did wrong yesterday, but my comment did not "take"! So, I will repeat how amazing it is that you not only do lovely beaded pieces, but also sewn and woven beaded pieces! This is over-the-top for me, but should be treasured by your sister. Lucky her.
