Magpie 165 - FATE...

Jamie Wyeth - Mohegan's Schoolteacher, 2004

Icy coolness
Starlit night
Sleeping village
All seems right

Heat within
Fingers burn
Body aches
Internal yearn

Morning bread
Lessons read
Students wait
Such is my Fate

  6. The first two stanzas take us to a dreamlike and emotional world, then you bring us to the mundane again. Nicely done:)
