New Painting Underway...

I'm afraid that I am the World's Worst when it comes to being on time for birthdays, anniversaries and any other event that must be celebrated through timely contact.  It's not that I don't wish to be on time, it's simply that time escapes me.  Nothing new...I've been like this my entire life.  At times I try to reconcile my tardiness by admitting that I am a Pisces and therefore tend to be a bit scattered.  At any rate, on the 10th day of July my one and only sibling (my Brother) celebrated his birthday.  I had good intentions over the past few weeks to complete and send him a painting of one of the many beautiful flowers that he and his wife grow.  Here I am, late again!  The painting has been started but is not finished.  I am publicly apologizing to my Brother, whom I love very much.  Here is the first stage of his beautiful heart shaped hydrangeas.  I have completed a few more sessions of work on it since this photo was taken and I will post the finished product...when I actually get it finished.  To my Brother I want to say "Thank YOU!" for your love and understanding of a little sister who simply can't get her life organized.
