One of the Sidney Consolidated Schools' (Sidney, Iowa) first transportation vehicles. Prior to this, students walked, rode horses or arrived in wagons pulled by horses. Notice the gentleman on the right who appears to be working on it. Isn't it amazing how many technological steps we took during the last century?

Interesting photo. I am wondering if you have a Sidney, Iowa connection or that you have relatives there. I taught in Sidney for four years before I moved to the northwest of Des Moines area. I enjoy your painting.
