The Road Not Taken
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:

ReplyDeleteAlthough these little "buddies" are harmless, I prefer not to have them about the house.
ReplyDeleteThanks!, Willow. It was a difficult shot to take without the little guy spooking so it's a bit fuzzy but I like it anyway.
ReplyDeleteDuta, I agree in normal circumstances but here in Hawaii these little characters help maintain the unwanted bugs that enter the house. Give me a cute little geko over a scary spider or biting mosquito anytime! Back on the mainland though I would opt not to have critters in the house as well. Good to hear from you!
Oh I love them...they're so cute! Keep the other bities at bay! Our geckos here in Australia aren't green like that they're more like the colour of the frog here in your post.
